José Rodrigues dos Santos was born in Mozambique in 1964.
With a PhD in Communication, he is a journalist at the Portuguese public television RTP. Previously he has worked for R·dio Macau and BBC, and was a permanent colaborator at CNN.
He is the bestselling novelist in Portugal, author of seven essays and twenty-four novels.
